while i was at hollyhock in canada, there was an absence of my morning ritual - that being, sucking down the 32 oz of diet coke. in it’s place - coffee - and quite a bit of it. too bad i hate[d] coffee.
everyone always told me that there really wasn’t much caffeine in soda, but i was convinced everyone was wrong. i mean, i did get caffeine headaches when i missed my morning soda. well, i was wrong folks (and i don’t admit that often).
i’ve been a coffee convert for about 2 weeks now. my heart hates me. my stomach hates me. but my office loves it. fresh coffee when folks come in in the mornings - albeit a bit strong (read: radioactive) - and an increase in productivity. w00t!

The stomach thing goes away. The heart stuff…maybe tone down the brew, or if you’re using Starbucks, change brands (it’s high-caffeine). Productivity? Sometimes yes, sometimes it just helps me be unproductive at a more feverish pace.
I’ve been gulping it down all day - trying to keep from - zzzzz…
